Originally formed by the WAGs of the Mighty Milton Rovers Men’s Team, Milton Rovers (Ladies) has evolved into a strong and friendly team, with players from all fields and walks of life. Under the excellent captaincy of Jo Whelan for the 2008/09 season, Milton has played (and done pretty well!) in both a friendly winter 11-aside league and the 5-aside league at the Westway, London.
If you’re keen to get involved in London women’s football and you don’t take life too seriously, get in touch with Holly, who has (foolishly?) voluteered to lead the troops for the 2009/10 season.
